Do You Have the Right Auto Insurance?
Here at Mr. Auto Insurance, we have been working in the insurance industry for many years. Although we now offer a wide range of different insurance options, we still have the most experience in auto insurance because we got our start there. One concern we encounter again and again is clients who worry about whether their auto insurance is right for them. To help answer this question, we have put together this article to go over a few ways to tell if your auto insurance policy is providing enough coverage for your needs.

- Check Liability Coverage – Auto insurance generally covers two types of damage: damage you do to others and their property and damage others do to you and yours. The first type of coverage is known as liability insurance, and we recommend getting as much liability coverage as you can afford. If you are ever at fault in an accident and don’t have enough coverage to pay for all the damages, you will still be legally responsible and will need to pay the rest out of pocket. With robust liability coverage, though, you won’t have to worry about this possibility.
- Check Collision Coverage – Your auto insurance policy should also include collision coverage, which pays for damage done to your car when you are at fault in an accident. With good collision coverage, you should be able to get your car repaired at no cost to you.
- Check Comprehensive Coverage – Lastly, we encourage you to check your comprehensive coverage when considering whether your auto insurance policy is good enough. This type of insurance covers damage to your vehicle caused by things other than accidents—for example, hail damage, fire damage, and theft.
